United 3 – 2 Newcastle

I’m going to the pub to watch this game, hence my prediction of an exciting 3-2 thriller. Having said that, I still can’t see us keeping a clean sheet – even though we have kept one – ever (at the moment). AND I can’t see Newcastle competing on all fronts – so fielding an especially weakened team; so my prediction is based on those two things as well. But more on the ‘me watching it’ part if I’m being honest. I do hope you enjoy my confusing, nonsensical, punctuation buffets…

I really hope we get to see my new favourite Nick KA-KA-KA-Powell! As many people noted on twitter there was more than a gentle whiff of Scholesy about him on his debut – which is more than enough for me.

Elsewhere, it looks like Keane may get a game at the back and we’ll no doubt bare witness to the inevitable “interesting” squad mash-up. Second guessing Fergie is difficult for Prem games; second guessing Fergie for the league cup could damage your frontal lobe.

Goals: Powell (KA-KA-KA-), Chicha 2.

p.s I outright refuse to refer to the League Cup as The Capital One Cup (apart from just then).
