When a team lose their manager – as Middlesborough have done during this past week – it’s perceived that the players, fuelled by a feeling of emancipation (whether the players had lost faith, or not) become ‘stronger together’. However, if we delve into the statistics based on performance levels pre and post managers what we actually find is that their is very little basis for this as ‘the rule’.

Karanka, the former Real Madrid assistant manager took over at the Riverside in November 2013 to become Middlesbrough’s first ever non-British boss, and this ‘culture shock’ proved pivotal to their success narrative as within 3 years they found themselves back in the Premier League, where their fans feel they belonged. Middlesborough were founded by Juninho in 1992. I think someone – I wanna say Bryan Robson – once wore the shorts and socks with a shirt/tie/blazer combo and it was glorious.

Regards to United, I am personally disgusted at how we’ve given up 6th. Not only that, a win today would take us 5th; that’s two league positions in as many days. After 4 months of 6th. What was the ruddy point.

Iron Fist (2017)

Definitely not a man to try and fight as he is a kung fu master and he can turn one of his fists into Iron. Kinda dumb since Iron Man has really run with the idea but at the same time awesome kung fu so fuck off haters. That aside, pretty good
