Benfica 1-1 United

First things first…What a scorcher from Giggsy!

The rest of the game had all the hallmarks of a Champions League group opener.

We should have got the win but in fairness Benfica were only denied by some excellent saves from Lindegaard (I personally at this moment in time prefer Lindegaard to De Gea, but only really base that on the way they look comparitively, not on any form or style preference).

Really pleased to see Fletch, Carrick, Fabio, and the main man TV getting match minutes under their belts…The squad is looking so hot right now (some might say).

We will qualify comfortably.
