And so, for really-real this time, no playin’, I’m starting to doubt whether Moyes does have what it takes. Yes, he inherited a team that was insufficiently stocked to compete with those other lot, however, he inherited a squad more than capable of defeating a Swansea side bereft of most (if not all) of its key men, at home. To have lost this game, knowing it was one of our few realistic chances of us adding to the Charity Shield, has left me a little bit punch drunk.

If Danny had got a dat-trick, like I predicted, I would hav … no, I’m not going there.

I’m going to shelve my disappointment, because I’m poorly, and I haven’t got the strength to look at the screen for any length of time without feeling like my face has been run over by a tarmac roller.

Let’s call this Moyes’ first MAJOR mistake, in a season already *up to here* with minor ones. I think he’s allowed one more this season, before we boil him in oil.

Has anyone reported Gordon Strachan to the relevant authorities, after his frighteningly realistic impression of a sociopathic serial killer on the ITV highlights show?
