United vs Villa
Had to nick this off the Beeb, cus.
Villa have been really beyond awful at times this season, but as we found out ourselves, their position in the league speaks little of the actual potential the team possesses. They are scrapping for their lives and I have absolutely no doubt whatever that they will be much more up for this game than us. The worst thing that could have happened in that regard, is City losing yesterday. The lack of intensity we’ve shown during the season has been a big issue and we need little encouragement to take our foot off.
It’s nice for an occasional liker of Martin O’Neill like me, that his spirit lives on through Paul Lambert’s parodying of him.
I’m not watching the game, ‘cus of a family visit, which isn’t great for me. A little bit of me, because of not watching it and because I want to get a little more out of the season, wouldn’t mind a draw – though that sounds silly when I say it out loud.
It’s a shame Scholesy is out. Fingers crossed on TV’s continued uprising.
Prediction: 3-2, just because.
Goals: Danny with all three.
