Spurs 0 – 1 United

I quite clearly don’t want this to be the score, I’d much rather an “X” amount of goals thriller, but as sometimes tends to happen when two generally attacking teams meet, they cancel each other out.

Great that Scott Parker is out and even better if Bale is too. I don’t buy this, beating a team fair and square when they’ve got their full compliment of players available, is more of a ‘proper’ victory, nonsense. The less of their best players they’ve got out, the more likely we are to win. It’s (usually) that simple.

Rooney is back from his (excuse me a second)…

“throat infection”

(Sorry, the formatting means I couldn’t exaggerate that as I’d have liked)

… so that’s an obvious plus.

Nani has hopefully taken a long hard look at himself after the last game (I’m sure he has, but admiringly) and will make a good fist of filling in for the missing T.V. He could start by at least attempting to do something, anything.

Really looking forward to this one.
