United vs Chelsea

As the season disappears, it’s apparent we’re fast running out of games to see Scholesy at Old Trafford. Maybe he isn’t going to retire after all. Maybe he already has. Maybe I’m just doing the questioning thing to pad out having not a lot to say. Well, I don’t know about you lot, but I’d like to see him one last time and so I hope it’s this weekend, against one of his greatest adversaries in Chelsea and not next week, against Swansea (no offence). He’s in the squad, so that’s a start.

I’m actually quite excited about this game in spite of myself. I’m still really sore over our exit from the F.A Cup and I’m under no illusion that we’ll be “up for it”, or that Chelsea won’t be, BUT – probably because it’s the Bank Holiday (and I’m a sucker for Bank Holidays) – I just have this wholly misguided idea that we’re going to experience something special  (I’ll be sure to ignore everything I’ve just said, after the most horrible game ever).

Prediction: 3-2, of course!

Goals: TV, Scholesy, Powell (after coming on for Scholesy).
