Damn. I should have been more bold and would have got the result and scorer bang on. Predicted a Rooney brace and was tempted to put 0-2 but was just a bit concerned about us defensively.
Couldn’t have gone much more to type this game. It’s a shame about the Vida red card, but how many red cards should he have got in his career and got away with? At least he shouldn’t miss more than the return of Galati.
As for the second pen. For me Rooney’s dive isn’t that different from Charlie Adam’s at the weekend. Happy for Rooney that he stuck them both away all the same.
