It’s really hard to avoid talking about the main issue of this game but I think it’s all been said and repeated to death and back and we’re still talking about it. I really can’t get my head around what Suarez and Dalglish think they stand to gain by continuing with their stances. I would hope any support from neutrals they may have had will be dwindling.

Anyhooo…

Thought we made them look threatening with the inevitable last 1o minute slight panic after their goal. But for the most part we controlled the game again and, as in the cup against them, should have won more convincingly.

Evans and Rio were solid. T.V great again. Wish Welbeck would try shooting before he tires himself out. Rooney (and Scholesy) looked very sharp in spells.
