Fellaini did some okay stuff in this game, but it’s still not clear why he’s not playing the position he was bought to play in – the position he apparently wants to play and is his best position. The sending off was pre-arranged between the referee and the United coaching staff. United had to catch a flight back and didn’t want tree-chops taking the whole of Autumn to get back into the changing room.
*Kags changed the game when playing the number 10, and looked so much better than Rooney there shocker* etc.
*Ashley Young in dive shocker* etc.
I was, as it happens, generally pleased with the way Moyes set the team up and kind of took the game to them, and I also thought the substitutions were good too. There’s that word ‘good’ again.
